Sorry for not keeping this up. I thought that since they were home not many people would still be checking. But apparently they do. Dad is doing better each day. He has much more color and his hair is coming back. He has had a rough couple of months with different infections. But he is hanging in there. This week he is running tests so that he can go back to Utah for his 100 day checkup. If all the tests go well. they will release him and he won't have to be as careful and be able to go back to work. This is something that Dad has been really waiting for. As all of you know, he is not one to sit still.
We all have our trials and hard times and it is what we learn and take from those experiences that counts right? Having to watch my parents go through the last year, has changed my life. I will always be grateful for every minute I have with not only my dad, but with my family. All the crazy, hard days that you have as a mom I will gladly take. My testimony has grown so much from seeing the unwavering faith of my Dad through all the horrible days he has had to go through. If he can make it through all that and still have such faith. How small are my trials and hard times. So thank you Dad for helping me through this last year. What an example you are.
